Yes. We fabricate custom tanks tailored to your specifications, including size, material, orientation, and fittings. While we don’t provide full design services, we can assist with developing your specified design and work with a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States to provide stamped drawings. Please note that this service involves an additional fee.

Yes. Every STAFCO tank is proudly built in the United States using American-sourced steel.

We build tanks ranging from approximately 150 gallons up to more than 50,000 gallons, depending on design requirements.

The right tank depends on your local fire and safety codes. Here’s a quick breakdown of common standards, for context:

• UL‑142: A foundational standard for single‑wall steel tanks used to store flammable and combustible liquids. It covers basic safety criteria but offers no enhanced fire resistance.
• UL‑2085: Builds upon UL‑142 with added layers of protection. These tanks include fire‑resistant materials, secondary containment, and impact resistance—often required in stricter fire-code environments or highly populated areas.
• Flameshield®: A double‑wall tank with a tight‑wrap design, 2‑hour fire resistance, built-in secondary containment, and leak monitoring capabilities—designed for advanced safety and compliance.

Yes. We fabricate tanks to UL-142/F921, UL-2085 Fireguard, Flameshield, and other STI-listed standards.

Yes. Double wall tanks provide secondary containment for added safety and environmental protection.

Generator base tanks support the generator while serving as fuel storage. They are custom-fitted to each generator’s requirements.

We maintain an inventory of tanks up to 2,000 gallons for faster shipment. For tanks over 2,000 gallons, please call our sales team — we can review your needs and work out a production timeline. Our team is committed to finding the quickest solution possible.

Shipping costs are calculated after purchase based on tank size and delivery location. Returns are accepted within 30 days for bare tanks and are subject to a restocking fee. Return freight is the customer’s responsibility. Custom tanks are non-returnable.
